Asides being the second Samsung Android Go smartphone which falls in the budget range, this smartphone is also the light version of the Samsung Galaxy J4+. Its big-sized body is as thick as 7.9mm, so, slimness is an added feel to its handling. Its 73.6% screen-to-body ratio fits well into its bezel-less design. The base of the bezel features just a chin while the top bezel sports earpiece, sensors and front-facing camera. Pictures, videos, documents and other forms of media are relayed on the smartphone’s large 6-inch IPS screen. The crispness of these media is taken care of by a resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and 272PPI pixel density. Also in the equation, there’s the 18.5:9 aspect ratio that gives an Infinity display. Behind the glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 runs the complete show on the smartphone. Performance and efficiency are handled by a Quad-core 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU. This chipset uses a 28nm process technology and 64-bit architecture. Elsewhere, Adreno 308 GPU oversees the phone’s output of graphics. Selfies are taken by a single 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the flip side, photography is executed by an 8MP shooter. Features of the rear camera include LED flash, Autofocus, HDR, Panorama and f/2.2 aperture. Meanwhile, 16GB ROM keeps hundreds of files on the smartphone. This storage can be increased to 512GB with the intervention of a memory card. A non-removable 3,300mAh Li-Ion battery sees to the lasting duration of this phone.
