Shannon Studstill did not stand still and received the award in the name of Santa Monica Studios. She also addressed a word of thanks to Shuhei Yoshida, CEO of Sony Worldwide Studios Cory Barlog, the game director, used his moment on stage for an inspiring message. “Every game that is present here tonight is a true masterpiece, let’s hear it for all titles,” was Cory’s message. “Let yourself be heard by every creator, creators of games, films, comic strips and all other types of creators who enrich our lives and make us believe that magic exists.” Red Dead Redemption 2 obviously also won a lot of prizes, including best story, best music, best sound and best acting for Roger Clark as Arthur Morgan.
